William "Bill" Pecori Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved William Anthony Pecori, age 49, of Kennedy Township, on December 4, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Bill, affectionately known to his family as “The Bull,” was born on August 11, 1976, to Susan and James Pecori, Sr., and was raised in Stowe Township. From a very young age, Bill had a love for fixing anything mechanical and seeking out his frequent “frugal finds.” He attended Sto-Rox High School, graduating in 1995, and pursued his passion for mechanics at Parkway West Vo-Tech, where he studied Machining. After high school, he began an apprenticeship with Cranberry Manufacturing in Warrendale (later CMC of Saxonburg), where he continued to work until his passing and where he built many long-lasting friendships.

In 2008, Bill married the love of his life, Jennifer Smith, at the family farm. They welcomed their daughter, Madison Rose, in 2011, and it was instantly clear that she was the apple of his eye. Bill proudly passed on his love of the farm to Madison.

Bill found great joy in spending his free time with family and friends at the Horvath/Pecori family farm—hunting, fishing, farming, and working on their collection of military vehicles and farm equipment. One of his greatest pleasures was hosting an annual July 4th celebration  at the farm with his brothers, a tradition his family hopes to continue in his honor. He also had a deep passion for gardening, especially growing his own seedlings each year for the farm garden, nurturing them lovingly through the entire season.  Many may remember buying corn from him in the summer, when he and Madison would haul bushels home from the farm.

If you knew Bill, chances are he fixed something for you: your lawn mower, your weed wacker, or even your brakes. Our Bull will be remembered for many things, but above all, he will be remembered as a kind and generous man who always put others before himself. No matter the task, he was there to help—never asking for anything in return. He was truly one of a kind, and his passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His legacy will live on, reminding us to pursue meaningful acts of love and service, just as Christ modeled for us.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Pecori, and their daughter, Madison; his parents, James and Susan Pecori; his siblings James Pecori, Jr. (Carol), Angela Zane (Francis), and Peter Pecori; his nieces Lauren and Allison Zane; and many more close friends and extended family who deeply cherished him. Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Monday, December 8, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Anthony M.
