VINCENT LEO CARR
Vincent Leo Carr, age 91 of Kennedy Township (formerly of New York) passed away peacefully
with his loving family by his side on February 14, 2026. He was preceded in death by his
beloved wife, Mary, along with his parents, John and Anna (Lavin) Carr. He was also preceded in
death by his brothers, James (surviving spouse Mary), John (the late Mary), Fr. Bernard, and
Walter Carr. He is survived by his loving sister Eleanor (Carr) Vith (the late Francis “Tiv”), with
whom he resided. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Vince had a love of
reading and enjoyed spending time at the racetrack betting on his favorite horses. He lived in
New York for over 60 years and always enjoyed his time at Rockaway Beach. He was an avid
Jets and Yankees fan. He will be missed by all those who loved him. Per his wishes, a private
memorial service will be held at Musmanno Funeral Home at a later date.
