Thomas “Tom”

Age 81, left this earth for a heavenly home on Thursday, March 14, 2024. In 2011 Tom moved to the Vincentian Home from McKees Rocks, Pa where he lived since his birth. He is survived by his older brother John “Jack” and his wife Carolyn of Cary, N.C., his younger sister Nancy Gallick of Allison Park, Pa and several nieces and nephews. Tom was a very gentle and caring person who practiced his Catholic religion daily. He had a master’s degree in social work and was employed as a social worker at Mayview State Hospital for over 30 years. In Toms later years the highlight of his life was spending time with his sister, who was truly devoted to making his life more fulfilling. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Noon by Father Regis Ryan who was a close personal friend of Toms at Archangel Gabriel Parish / St. Marys Church in McKees Rocks, Pa. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery.
