Scott Dewayne Jones

Scott Dewayne Jones, born June 11, 1960, in Nebraska, went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 25, 2026. He was preceded in death by his father, John Jones. His beloved wife, Maryann Jones, joyfully joined him in Heaven on January 31, 2026.

Scott is lovingly survived by his children, Kat Jones and twins Isaac and Jordan Jones; his mother, Julia Jones; his brothers, Dallas Jones, Murray Jones, and Kipp Jones; and his sisters, Arinda Jones and Jubilee Jones.

Scott graduated from Northbrook High School in Houston, Texas, and went on to proudly serve his country by enlisting in the United States Navy. After 23 years of dedicated and honorable service, he retired as a Chief Petty Officer. His commitment to duty, leadership, and country reflected the strength of his character and his deep sense of patriotism.

Above all, Scott was a loving son, devoted father, caring brother, loyal friend, and a true patriot. His faith, service, and love for his family will be remembered always by those who knew and loved him.

A viewing will be held at Anthony M. Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A private service and interment will follow the next day.
