Santo
Age 97, of Ross Twp., formerly of Stowe Twp., peacefully on Sunday, February 19, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Theresa (Formosa) DeFrancesco; dear father of Sandy (Jim) Gordon, Steve (Lani) DeFrancesco, Mary (Mark) Keller, Santo (Sandy) DeFrancesco and the late Carol Ann DeFrancesco; Grandfather of eleven grandchildren and his late granddaughter Mary Dedola. Also ten great-grandchildren. Brother of Frances Reilley, Joseph DiFrancesca, John DeFrancesco, Dolores Conway, Lawrence DeFrancesco, Grace Varrati, James DeFrancesco and the late Anthony DeFrancesco, Rosalia Moskala and Joann Giles. Son of the late Stefano and Rose DeFrancesco. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Santo proudly served in the US Navy during WW II where he received a purple heart. He was a long time employee of US Steel and Trinity Industries. He also worked in the construction industry with his father. Family and Friends are welcome on Wednesday 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Kennedy Twp. location of ANTHONY M. MUSMANNO FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 941 McCoy Rd McKees Rocks, PA 15136. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 am in Archangel Gabriel Parish, St. Marys Church. Memorial contributions may be donated to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
