Age 86, a long time Kennedy Township resident, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, November 04, 2022. Beloved wife of 66 years to William H. Vaught. Loving mother of Sharon (Michael) Cercone and Lauren (Sam DeNillo) Wally. Dear Grandmother of Michael Cercone, Jr., Zachary (Lauren) Wally, Victoria (Alex Ramirez) Cercone, Brett (Sara) Wally and Danielle (Joe) Wally Gombach. Great-Grandmother of Scarlett, Presley, Blake, and soon to be baby boy Mac.  Also survived by her nieces, nephews, family members, and many friends.

In addition to being devoted to her family, Sandy loved serving her church, from running the bingo for over 20 years, being a wedding coordinator and Eucharistic minister, as well as organizing trips to Atlantic City.  She was a champion bowler, lucky casino winner, avid bingo player, reader, and loved a good Black Russian.  

Family and Friends are welcome for visitation on Thursday, November 10, 2022, 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Kennedy Township Location of the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, Inc., 941 McCoy Road, McKees Rocks, Pa 15136. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday 10:00 am at St. Malachy Church, Kennedy Township.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, 4400 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pa 15213.
