Robert Patrick Spine

Robert Patrick Spine, Sr. passed away peacefully early morning on Monday, August 16, 2021.
 
 
 
Born in McKees Rocks, PA, Robert was the son of Patrick Robert and Catherine Spine (Corrado). He was a graduate of Stowe High School and went on to earn a degree in business administration from Duquesne University, where he also played baseball. He was a veteran of the United States Army at the rank of Captain. He followed in his father’s footsteps and was the second generation to run their family business of 30 years, P.R. Spine Agency, an insurance, real estate, and tax preparation business in McKees Rocks, PA.
 
 
 
Robert is survived by his wife, Marlene Spine, his five children: Debra (Jason) Allen, Robert P. Spine, Jr., Patrick Spine, Maria (Jason) Conry, and Lori (Josh) Lauth, and his two stepchildren Kelly McIsaac and Tom McIsaac, and his six grandchildren: Kailey Allen, Lawson Allen, Emma Conry, Preston Conry, Grace Lauth, and Meadow Lauth. Robert is preceded by his parents Patrick and Catherine Spine, and two sisters Patricia Lyons and Carol Dean.
 
 
 
Robert was truly an amazing man and the most selfless person. The best dad and grandpa, he was a true family man devoted to his wife, five children, six grandchildren, and his beloved pet dog “Rocky”.  He never missed his kids’ sporting events and coached them in little league baseball and basketball.  In his younger days, he also was influential to many other young adults as their little league baseball coach. He had a lasting impact on everyone he met.  Lived by strong values with his genuine love of family, his community, the simple things in life, animals, and a good Italian meal. A sports lover, he was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates along with Pitt Panthers.  We have been blessed to have him touch our lives and the lives of so many others; his legacy will live on for the extraordinary man he was and has instilled in all of us.  He will be missed tremendously.
 
 
 
Family and Friends are welcome for  visitation on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Kennedy Township location of the  Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, Inc.  941 McCoy Road McKees  Rocks, PA 15136.
