Age 79, of Kennedy Township, passed away peacefully on Friday November 24, 2023 surrounded by the love of his family. He was the beloved and devoted husband of 51 years to Eileen (Artinger) Lypson. Dear and very proud father of his daughters, Ashley (Craig) Lypson Oley, Jessica (David) Ponchak, and Alyssa Lypson. Loving grandfather of Gabriella Oley, Madison Oley, Ethan Ponchak, Ella Ponchak and Evelyn Ponchak. Brother of John (Erika) Lypson, Alan Lypson, Wendy Martino and the late Laurie Heil. Bob was also preceded in death by his parents John and Anna Lypson.  Bob was a veteran of the United States Army.  He loved spending time at his house in Conneaut Lake, fishing, hunting, gardening, and playing card games, especially pinochle. A University of Pittsburgh grad, Bob never missed a Pitt basketball or football game and always cheered on the Steelers.  Above all else, Bob was a devout Catholic, selfless in his actions, and loved his wife, children and grandchildren deeply.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, Inc. 941 McCoy Road McKees Rocks, (Kennedy Township) Pa 15136. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 am in St. Marys Church. Burial will follow at St. Marks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to Genesis of Pittsburgh genesispgh.org
