Born on Feb. 05, 1936 in Norristown, Pa and died on Thursday, Sept.17, 2020 at his home in Kennedy Township. He was the elder son of John and Elizabeth (Toth) Bishop.

Bob is survived by his wife of 63 years, Doris (Hoyet) Bishop. Father of Michael (Kristen) Bishop, Laura Lee (Rick) Mongiovi and Darra Anne Bishop. Also survived by his brother George (Sandra) Bishop. Grandfather of Jaime Lee (Justin) Greco, Justin Michael Moses and Aiden Alexander Bishop.

Bob had a chemical engineering degree from PSU and was a retiree of PPG industries. During his career with the company he was assigned an international position in Paris, France where he and his family lived for three years and were able to take full advantage of European travel, culture and cuisine. Bob was an excellent golfer and recipient of numerous awards and trophies. He was also an avid sports fan; however with his gregarious  personality, he was foremost a people - person, befriending and mentoring all that he could help in whatever capacity. Bobs family and friends were immensely blessed by his caring nature, extreme generosity and unconditional love. A memorial service will be conducted in the Anthony M. Musmanno Chapel on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 4:00 pm followed by a life celebration visitation 4:30 pm to 6:00pm at the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, Inc. 941 McCoy Road McKees Rocks, PA 15136 (Kennedy Township)
