Age 94 of McKees Rocks, Pa passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, July 11, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Pasquale Funwela. Dear mother of Patrick and his wife Joanne Funwela, Robert and his wife Carolyn Funwela, Edward (the late Jean) Funwela and Debra and her husband Mark Webster. Rita is also survived by four grandchildren and four great - grandchildren, her brother Arthur Nowicki and her beloved dog Rocco.  She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Stella (Dunn) Nowicki, two sisters and five brothers. Rita volunteered at Meals on Wheels in McKees Rocks for over 20 years. Visitation will be held at the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, Inc. 941 McCoy Road McKees Rocks, (Kennedy Township) Pa 15136 on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A blessing service will be celebrated on Saturday evening at 7:00 pm in the Musmanno Chapel, Fr. Regis Ryan officiating.  Interment will be private to the family at a later date.
