Regina M. Mell

Age 78 of Stowe Twp. passed away Friday, September 20 after a brief illness.  Beloved sister of Fritz (Vicki),step aunt of Steven (Missy),great aunt of Gavin and Hope, sister of Neve (Raymond) of Tucson Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents Nevaldo and Carmella Mell.

Regina worked professionally as a nurse for 39 years before retiring in 2010. In retirement she kept very active in her flower gardens, baking and volunteering at local food banks and various other charities. She was a devout Catholic and her strong faith was a compass that guided her as a true humanitarian, always placing the needs of others before herself. She was very active in her church. Her smile brought sunshine and happiness to those knew her.

Per her request there will be no visitation. A mass of Christian burial will be on Tuesday, September 24th at 10:00am at Holy Ghost Byzantine Church Church located at 225 Olivia Street in McKees Rocks. Internment immediately following at St. Marks Cemetery 1000 Wren Dr.,Kennedy Twp.

Donations may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor 1028 Benton Avenue, Pittsburgh 15212.

Regina will be greatly missed by her cousins, friends and neighbors.
