Nancy Lyscik Obituary

Nancy Jean Lyscik

November 19th, 1945 ~ October 28th, 2024

On October 28th, 2024, Nancy Jean “Grammy” Lyscik passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. Daughter of the late Ella Brown, she is survived by her husband Randall, daughter Michele (Joe), son Steven (Tanya), grandchildren Katelyn, Andrew, Anthony, Ella, Alyse, Jack, and Hope, and her precious puppy, Sunshine. She is further survived by family, friends, and all those lucky enough to know and love her.

Nancy was kind, selfless, creative, and witty. Always sociable, she delighted in complimenting strangers, telling stories, and making new friends. Everyone knew Nancy, as she was a fixture in her community and widely loved Her big personality reflected in her elaborate outfits (many called her Fancy Nancy) , fondness for characters like Mickey, Eeyore and Tinkerbell, and frequent jokes and antics. We will never forget just how hard she could make us laugh.

Nancy loved to crochet, travel, and spend time with loved ones. Above all else, she adored her children and grandchildren to whom she dedicated all her time and love. She spent many years creating joyful memories and intricate afghans, too. In the face of accelerating health issues, she maintained a cheerful outlook. Tough as nails, she remained strong-willed and resilient until the end.

She was the sunshine in the lives of many who will forever cherish her warmth and light.

She joins her beloved sister Kate and brother Bobby in everlasting peace.
