Mary Nancy Gallick, age 74, of Allison Park, Pa passed away suddenly at home on Friday, February 7, 2025. She was survived by her oldest brother John J. Gallick, wife Carolyn and several nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Margaret Gallick of McKees Rocks and her brother, Thomas Paul Gallick, who departed this earth on March 14, 2024.
Nancy attended St. Mary’s School for her elementary and high school education. She received a nursing degree from Ohio Valley General Hospital. Later she furthered her education by becoming a nurse anesthetist. Her working career included employment at hospitals in California, Hawaii, Texas and Pennsylvania. She was last employed at Sewickley Hospital in Pittsburgh where she worked for 15 or more years. After retiring Nancy devoted 12 years to caring for making her Brother Tom’s life more fulfilling. Tom had lived at the Vincentian Home until his death last year.
Nancy was the youngest of the 3 siblings and being the only daughter was “the apple of her father’s eye”. She loved meeting people made friends easily and as some have said, “She could talk to a wall and the wall would talk back to her”. Her smiles and friendly nature will be missed by all who knew her.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, February 12th at 11:00 A.M. by Father Regis Ryan, a close family friend, at St Mary’s Church in McKees Rocks, PA.
