Age 90 of Stowe Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Survived by his immediate family Loretta (the late Charles) Bridge, Terry Savatt, the late Mariann (surviving spouse Bob) Biltz, the late Barry (surviving spouse Grace) Savatt, the late Frank (Cheryl) Savatt and multiple nieces, nephews and friends. Also preceded in death by his parents Michael and Pauline Wakeriak and his Aunt and Uncle Frank “Blackie” and Helen Savatt. Mr. Wakeriak started his teaching career in mathematics at Stowe High School and retired after 30 years of service from Sto – Rox School District. After retirement Mickey volunteered at Meals on Wheels and Ohio Valley General Hospital. Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Saturday, August 01, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Sunday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, Inc. 941 McCoy Road McKees Rocks, (Kennedy Township) Pa 15136. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11:00 am in St. Marys Church. Burial will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be donated to Meals on Wheels 900 Chartiers Avenue McKees Rocks, PA 15136
