MaryAnn Jones (Chestnutt), 59, of McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 31, 2026. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 22 years, Scott Dewayne Jones; her parents, Kenneth and Mary Chestnutt; and her brother, Steven Andrew Chestnutt.
MaryAnn is survived by her adored children, twins Jordan and Isaac Jones, and step-daughter, Kat Jones; her brother, Paul Chestnutt of Pensacola, Florida; and her sister, Judy (Joe) Smydo of Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
Faith and family were the center of MaryAnn’s life. She graduated from Sto-Rox High School, where she played clarinet and performed with the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony. Following graduation, she continued her love of music with the West Hills Symphonic Band. MaryAnn also shared her gifts through song, singing at Mother of Sorrows Church, and later devoted her professional life to serving others through her work at St. John of God Church and Archangel Parish until her retirement.
In 2004, MaryAnn married Scott Jones. Following Scott’s retirement from the United States Navy, they returned to McKees Rocks to build their life together. MaryAnn was a devoted and loving mother, deeply involved in her children’s school activities and always present in their lives.
MaryAnn was a faithful and true wife, a devoted mother, and a woman of remarkable creativity, grace, and strength. She selflessly cared for family and friends, offering kindness, compassion, and unwavering support to all who knew her. Her warmth, faith, and generous spirit will be remembered always.
Viewing will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, 941 McCoy Road, Kennedy Township. A private funeral service and interment will be held the following day.
