Mary Jane (Fafata) Martin

Mary J. Martin (Fafata), 88, of Kennedy Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Born on December 19, 1936, to the late Anna Foster and Walter Fafata, Mary was a beacon of strength and love throughout her life. She is survived by her beloved brother, Walter Fafata, and is predeceased by four siblings, whose memories she cherished deeply. 

Mary was a strong and loving matriarch, whose unwavering devotion to her late husband, Dale Martin, was evident in every aspect of her life. She was a dedicated and nurturing mother to Betty (Robert) Postava, Mary (Jeffrey) Laughlin, Chris (Joseph) Podnar, Barb (late Richard) Kaleugher, Wesley (Susan) Martin, Joseph (Amy) Martin, and Carol (John) Meiers, each of whom she cherished deeply. Mary also leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren and thirteen adored great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life. 

In accordance with Mary’s wishes, there will be no visitation. The family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers
