Margaret Nancy Chickini (Iorio)

March 1, 1928 - January 27, 2025

Margaret “Margie” Chickini (Iorio) of Stowe Twp., Pennsylvania passed away on Monday January 27, 2025 at the age of 96 in Ohio where she was able to be loved on, laughed with and cared for by her heartbroken granddaughters, great grandchildren and her son. We are forever grateful for her final two years and the gift of having her with us in Ohio. Those precious moments of story sharing, laughing, crying and making memories, we will truly cherish forever. Grandma, you will forever be in our hearts and we will miss you more than words can express.

Margie met her husband Jerry at a dance hall 78 years ago and they continued loving life, traveling with family and friends and dancing together throughout the years. Margie dedicated her life to caring for and raising her two children, working and volunteering while always saving time for everyone around her. Her unwavering love, patience and compassion will continue to live on through her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her as she taught us all the importance of family, kindness and grace.

She is survived by her son Gerald Chickini Jr. and son-in-law Gary Daniels. The most wonderful Grandmother to Amy (Mike) Graham, Jessica (Dominic) Perella, Tiffany Daniels and Dominic, Samantha and Mackenzie Chickini. Also survived by her 5 loving great grandchildren; Jacob, Austin and Addison Graham and Nicco and Enzo Perella. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and her special god daughters Debbie Hlasnik and Susie Kiesel.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Ermenia (Gizzi) Iorio, her daughter Nina Daniels and her wonderful husband of almost 72 years before his passing in 2021, Gerald Chickini. She was the youngest of all her siblings, who preceded in death; Salvatore Iorio, Dominic Iorio, Mildred Wozniak, Ann Orosz, Phyllis Vayo, and Lena Sobeck.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Monday February 3, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 at the Kennedy Township location of Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home at 941 McCoy Road, McKees Rocks, PA 15136. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Archangel Gabriel Parish, St. Malachy Church Tuesday February 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET IN CHURCH) Interment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
