Kulik
Katherine “Cuffy”
On May 19, 2023, after a courageous battle, her suffering finally coming to a merciful end, Katherine "Cuffy" Kulik joined other members of her family in God's graces. She was the daughter of John and Mary Katshir of Moon Run. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph John Kulik. She was also predeceased by her brother John (Marda) Katshir. Cuffy was known for her hard work, especially for her years at William G. Johnston Company, the Montour School District, McDonald's, and as a Judge of Election and Inspector at the polls in Kennedy Township. She especially worked very hard stuffing envelopes and doing anything she could to help her son and daughter in law. She is survived by her son, Joseph M. Kulik, and daughter in law, Anita Astorino Kulik. She was the proud "Babci" of Dr. Sarah Rose (Dr. Joshua) Wrona and Joseph Edward (Kirby) Kulik, and the very proud great grandmother of Kennedy and Keaton Wrona, and Florence Kulik. She is also survived by her loving sister Anna (Robert) Szarmack, and nieces Marianne Szarmack and Susan Higgins, Kim (Frank) Lapolla and Laurie (Joel) McKiernan, and nephew Gregory (Tracy) Katshir, and their children, along with many other wonderful family members and many friends, including Donna (Chris) LaFronte and her family. Visitation will be at the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, Inc. 941 McCoy Road (Kennedy Township) McKees Rocks, Pa 15136 on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 4 to 8. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Malachy Church of Archangel Gabriel Parish, on Friday at 10:00 a.m., followed by internment at Resurrection Cemetery. A celebration of all things Babci will be at the Kennedy Fire Hall. Thanks and prayers go out to the staff at Asbury Heights, for their attentive care. Cuffy was known for sending lottery tickets to her family and friends, and anyone coming to the viewing is encouraged to bring a lottery ticket or two for others and then take a lottery ticket or two from the display at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Cuffy's memory. Above all, take time to hug someone you love and let them know you love them.
