Karen Rowland Obituary

Died Monday, August 20, 2018, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Karen was born June 6, 1965, in Pittsburgh. She was a daughter of the late Glenn T. Rowland and Judith A. (Baldwin) Rowland; she is survived by her son, Brandon T. Rowland; and siblings, Laurie A. Shaffer, Cindy L. Trohoski, and Barry T. Rowland; and several nieces and nephews. Her body is being donated to science in the hope things can be learned as to how she was able to survive and battle cancer for so long. Karen's life will be celebrated in a private service. Please send any donations to St. Judes Research Hospital in Karen's name. Arrangements entrusted to ANTHONY M. MUSMANNO FUNERAL HOME, INC., McKees Rocks, PA.
