Josephine M. Vertullo

Josephine M. Vertullo, age 98 of Kennedy Township, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, June 16, 2024.

Beloved wife of almost 75 years to the late Frank J. Vertullo. Dear Mother of Ken (Bernadette) Vertullo and Linda (Robert) Brant. Grandmother  of Elliot Vertullo, Francesca (Adam Tingelstad) Vertullo, Max Brant and Jacqueline Brant. Daughter of the late Domenic and Lucia (Rosati) Petrella. Also, survived by many
nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings, of the late John (Mary) Petrella, Jedy (Rose) Petrella, Laurene (John) DiBacco, Pauline (Frank) Puskar, Violet "Tommy" (Red) Urbano, and Anthony (Ida) Petrella.

Josephine grew up in Pittock and attended Stowe High School and worked at B & G coffee shop . She was a member of St. Malachy church, Christian Mothers, and was a Kennedy Township Committee Woman. She worked at St. Malachy School in the lunchroom and loved all the children calling
her Aunt Jo.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, Inc. 941 McCoy Road, Kennedy Township, PA 15136. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 am in the Musmanno Chapel. Burial will follow at St. Mark’s Cemetery.
