Josephine Ann (Proto) Pasquarelli

Josephine Pasquarelli passed away peacefully in her home on May 8, 2025. She was, and always will be, a beautiful person, loving mother and wife, brilliant teacher, incredible friend, and follower of God. She is survived by her husband Robert and her two daughters Alexandra and Olivia. They were the brightest light in her life. JoAnn loved learning, reading, and making the world better. She loved traveling and sharing her life with those who love her. She had big heart, strong ethics, and an unyielding moral compass. In her younger years, she overcame much adversity with the help of her loving extended family. Her mother, Mary, was her best friend. Her Aunt Lena and Uncle Bas were like her second parents, and her cousins Sam and Dave were like brothers to her. They helped inspire resilience in her childhood by always showing her unconditional love and made her into the proud adult she was. She lived her life selflessly in a way that inspired others and those close to her will continue to be guided by her memory.

A funeral mass will be held for family and friends on Monday May 12 at 11am at Holy Trinity Polish National Catholic Church (200 Grace St McKees Rocks, PA 15136) followed by a committal service at Resurrection Cemetery directly after.
