Age 85, of Kennedy Township, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, January 12, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late John Polteno. Dear mother of Tara and her husband Bruce Berman. Loving Grandmother of Margeaux and Meredith Berman. Joanna is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends. She became a hairdresser soon out of high school and operated her own beauty salon for many years. Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, Inc. 941 McCoy Road McKees Rocks, PA 15136. A blessing service will be celebrated in the Musmanno Chapel on Friday at 11:00 am.
