Janet E. (Kozlowski) Carpellotti

Janet (Kozlowski) Carpellotti, 76, of Stowe Township. died peacefully Friday, October 7th, 2022, with her family by her side.

She was born March 28th, 1946, in Pittsburgh Pa., daughter of the late Henry and Genevieve Baranowski Kozlowski.   

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank J Carpellotti, Brother Jerry Kozlowski, Brother Dave Kozlowski, Mother-in-law Mary Carpellotti, Father-in-law Nick Carpellotti and Brother-in-law Nick Carpellotti.

 Janet was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma (AKA Grammy Princey). She had a fun personality and always made people around her laugh. She loved to cook, kept an immaculate house, and had a superb green thumb.  She could make anything grow- the best Roma tomatoes or the most beautiful flowers which she often shared with others.  

Janet was the Secretary of Carpellotti Trucking LLC for many years.  Respected by all those that worked for the company and revered by many of the hired drivers that she organized daily.  Her selfless dedication to the success of the company was admired by many. Prior to working at Carpellotti Trucking LLC she worked at Stouffers in the city of Pittsburgh where she met her husband, Frank.   Strongly devoted to her Catholic faith, she sang beautiful music in the choir. 

Janet will be greatly missed and is survived by her loving sons Nicholas J Carpellotti his wife Linda of Greensburg, Frank Carpellotti his wife Sarah of Venetia; granddaughters Lindsay Carpellotti, Summer Carpellotti, Taylor Carpellotti and Miranda Carpellotti whom she loved with her whole heart, Brother Jack Kozlowski. Also survived by her brother-in-law Henry Carpellotti and sister-in-laws Valerie and Linda Carpellotti and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be donated to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
