 Of Kennedy Township, age 90, on Monday, November 07, 2022 passed away peacefully at home.  Jim was born to Imrich and Anastasia, on Pittsburgh's North Side.  Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Peggy (Gerger) Lisiak.  He was predeceased by his siblings Albina (Paul) Pochbya, Gertrude (Leonard) Small, Anna (Mike) Ruda, Mary (John) Lesko, Irene (Mike) Capp, William (Millie) Lisiak, Eleanor (Tony) Murgia, Lillian (Steve) Dutkowski and Stephen Lisiak.  Jim is also survived by his sister-in-law Lillian Pelkington and cousin Dolly Cayko, and numerous nieces, nephews,  and friends.  Jim was a faithful member of Archangel Gabriel Parish (St. Malachy's Church) where he served as a Extra-ordinary Minister and a server at Mass.  He had a great devotion to the Blessed Mother and prayed many rosaries daily. Jim will be remembered for his talent of telling a good joke and sharing his sense of humor with everyone he met. Jim organized many reunion picnics and banquets for family and friends.  He was a good man with a heart of gold, who took pleasure in making others happy.  He could negotiate a deal with the best of them. Jim was the manager of Miller Finance Company and eventually retired from US Steel.  In retirement, he worked as a painter, and loved to travel, especially to Florida. Jim was a Korean War veteran, who served in the US Army, earning numerous medals.  He will be buried at the Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military honors. Family and Friends are welcome for visitation on Friday  2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, Inc. 941 McCoy Road McKees Rocks, Pa 15136. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 am in Archangel Gabriel Parish / St. Malachy Church. Burial with military honors will be private at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be donated to Archangel Gabrial Parish / St. Malachy Church.
