James D. Blackhurst

James D. Blackhurst, age 76 of Pittsburgh passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024. He was born on October 20, 1947 and was the son of the late John D. and Regina (McLaughlin) Blackhurst. 

He is survived by his beloved wife Barbara Blackhurst; siblings, Jack R. (Karen) Blackhurst, Diane E. and (David) Smihal; brother-in-law of John (Sylvia) Frankovich, Michael (Roxie) Frankovich, Kathleen (Ronald) Bovill, Helen (Howard) Hall, Marie Frankovich, and the late Peter Frankovich and Francis Frankovich; and many nieces and nephews. 

Jim enjoyed cars and working on them as well, drag racing, and oldies music. He was a member of Coraopolis Sportsmen's Club and enjoyed volunteering in the Revolutionary War Reenactments. 

A Memorial Service will be held on June 3, 2024 at 4:00 pm at the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, 941 McCoy Rd., Kennedy Township, PA 15136. Family and Friends will be welcome for a Memorial Gathering from 2:00 pm until time of Service at 4:00 pm.
