Irene Muha Obituary

Irene H. Muha age 102 of Kennedy Twp., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.  Formerly of Midway Ohio, she was the oldest child to Mike and Anna Mick.  She moved to the Pittsburgh area to marry the love of her life George Muha and together they had two daughters Eileen and Noreen (Bill).  After the passing of her sister Maryanne, she raised her five children John, Jim, Albert, Gary Schelling, and Marianne (Jay) Spishak, and became a second mother to them.  She was the beloved Nin to Sara (Erik) Herleman, Thea Belle, and Jameson. A woman of strong faith, Irene was a proud member of her church.  Family wishes for Irene to be remembered for her love of sitting outside visiting with family and friends admiring her beautiful garden she took great pride in, being a true matriarch and support system for her family, building puzzles with her nephew Gary, and spending time with Thea and Jameson.  She was predeceased by her parents Mike and Anna, husband George, daughter Eileen, sister Maryanne, brother John, and cherished friend Anne.  Family and friends will be received at the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, Inc 941 McCoy Road McKees Rocks, Pa 15136 on Tuesday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Parastas service will be conducted on Tuesday at 2:00 pm. A Panachida service will be conducted on Wednesday morning at 10:00 am at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:45 am in Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church 225 Olivia Street Mckees Rocks, Pa 15136. Burial will follow after Mass in St. Marks Cemetery.
