Harry R. Dobrowolski, age 78 of Findlay Township passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024. He was born in McKees Rocks on August 8, 1945 to the late Harry T. and Helen Dobrowolski.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Suzanne. He was the proud father of Darla (Joe) Carcia, Denise (Richard) Boronski, and Daniel (Ali) Dobrowolski; loving Pop Pop to Joey, Dominic, Sienna, Alana, Derek, Ava, and Beau; cherished brother to the late Ronald Dobrowolski, Dennis Dobrowolski, and Diane (David) Crawley; uncle to Anna (Jason) Betters, Leon Crawley; and great uncle to Mason Betters.
Harry was a Corporal in the United States Army where he served during the Vietnam era. He worked for P&LE Railroad and later for Amtrak where he was recognized for his dedication and outstanding work ethic. A longtime member of Archangel Gabriel Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, he lived his faith and was well-known for his kindness and generosity. A friend of Bill W.
He loved Pittsburgh sports, music, gardening, being outside, and fixing things. But above all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren who knew that they could always count on Pop Pop.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, 941 McCoy Road, Kennedy Township, PA 15136. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 27 at 11:00 AM at Archangel Gabriel Parish, St. Mary’s, Help of Christian’s Church.
