Gwendolyn Lawhorne

Gwendolyn K. Lawhorne, age 75 of North Versailles, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. She was born on July 22, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Robert and Kathleen Malmberg. 

She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Harold Lawhorne; two loving daughters, Christina (Frank) LoChiatto and Michelle (Ray) Colwell Kauffman; ten grandchildren, Anthony (Sarah) Colwell, Katelyn (Henry) Colwell, Nicholas (Andrea) LoChiatto, David Colwell, Jonathan LoChiatto, Gabrielle Colwell, Jonah LoChiatto, Sophia LoChiatto, Leah Kauffman, and Rena Kauffman; one great-grandchild, Luca David Colwell; and three siblings, Linda Carden, Edmund (Patricia) Klingensmith, and Robert Malmberg, along with many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Valko. 

Gwendolyn was a member of Norwin Alliance Church and enjoyed participating in Keenagers. She was known for her tremendous service helping others through volunteer work and reaching out to people through her telephone ministry. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed. 

Family and Friends are welcome for visitation on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Kennedy Township location of the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, Inc., 941 McCoy Road., McKees Rocks, (Kennedy Twp.), PA 15136. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at the Musmanno Chapel at 11:00 am.
