Greg McAtee, of Indiana Township, passed into eternity on June 18, 2026, after a five-year battle with cancer. He was the loving husband for 42 years of Robin McAtee ( nee Rosander); father of Rachel McAtee (Christopher Pollock), Alia McAtee, Abigail Fuller (Mason), and Sarah Almqvist ( Michael). Adoring grandfather to Reding Fuller. He was preceded in death by his father, Francis, and his sister, Patricia. Greg was well known in the city of Pittsburgh for his radio presence for close to 50 years, starting at WPLW in Carnegie, playing contemporary Christian music, and finishing at KDKA as a traffic announcer. He also deejayed many weddings, graduation parties, reunions, fundraising events, bar mitzvahs, and various other celebrations over 30 years. He was always active in community events and a proud alumni and inductee of Slippery Rock University and Media Hall of Fame. A 30-year member of Allison Park Church, he was a volunteer in many of the church's ministries. His presence in so many areas will be missed.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Allison Park Church, 2326 Duncan Ave, Allison Park, PA, on Saturday, July 25. There will be a meet/greet with the family from 9-10 am, with the service starting at 10. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to networkoflife.org.
