Gilbert E. Cowan Jr, 72, of Pittsburgh, PA. Departed this life on Monday April 15,2019 in Monroeville.
He was born November 29, 1946 in Man, WV. Son of the late Gilbert E. Cowan Sr. and Mattie Bell Williamson Cowan, he is survived by his friend and partner Gale Allen.
Gilbert has proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War Era and also served in the United States Army. He worked for many years as a driver for Trailways and Greyhound. Survivors include his two sons, Douglas Allen of Pittsburgh, PA and Trent Allen of Columbus, OH. One brother James A. Cowan of Clairton, PA, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
