January 21, 1926 - April 24, 2021

Gerald “Jerry, Jigs” age 95, of Stowe Twp., passed away on Saturday April 24, 2021. Lovingly remembered by his wife of almost 72 years, Margaret (Iorio) Chickini. Son of the late Dominic and Mary Chickini. Father of Gerald Chickini Jr. and the late Nina (Gary, surviving) Daniels . Adoring Grandfather of Amy (Mike) Graham, Jessica (Dominic) Perella, Tiffany Daniels, and Dominic, Samantha and Mackenzie Chickini. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren. He is survived by his siblings, Katherine Cardello, Naomi Kossler, Regina Honess, Dominic Chickini and Rosemary Beere; and preceded in death by siblings Joseph Chickini, Peter Chickini and Lucille Bilby. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Jerry is a veteran of World War II. After his service in the Army, he worked at Horix Manufacturing Company as a machinist for 40 years. He met Margie at a dance hall 74 years ago and they continued to love dancing and traveling together as well as spending time with their family throughout the years. When not working, he loved tending to his home and his garden. He will be remembered for his generosity, competitive spirit and most importantly for being an amazing and loving husband, father and grandfather as his family was most important to him.

Family and Friends are welcome for visitation on Friday, April 30, 2021 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm at the Kennedy Township location of the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, Inc. 941 McCoy Road, McKees Rocks, PA 15136. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Archangel Gabriel Parish, St. Malachy Church on Saturday at 11:00 am. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET IN CHURCH)  Interment with Military honors will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
