Age 64, of Hanover Township, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. Beloved husband of 37 years to Teresa Ann (Tapler) Stewart. Dear son of the late James A. and Carole Stewart. Son in law of Anna and the late William “Bill” Tapler. Loving brother of John Stewart, Julia Stewart and Todd Stewart. Also survived by many friends and family members. George had an entrepreneurial spirit and was a small business owner. He also loved sailing and fishing with his friends. Private funeral services have been entrusted to the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, Inc. 941 McCoy Road McKees Rocks, PA 15136. Memorial contributions may be donated in George’s name to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at t2t.org
