Frank J. Carpellotti

Francis (Frank) “I did it my way” Carpellotti of Stowe Township, Pa. passed away on Monday May 25th after reaching the age of 82 years old. Frank was born on September 1st 1937 in Stowe Township to Mary Dinardo (Carpellotti) and Nick Carpellotti of Abruzzi Italy. As a boy he grew up in the trucking industry and lived life to the fullest.  As a young man he learned to work hard, and appreciate the value of a dollar.  Graduated Stowe high school in 1956 and attended the University of Chattanooga Tennessee.  
He was an early entrepreneur and piloted one of the most successful trucking companies in the Pittsburgh area.  Beloved Stowe Township commissioner for 20 years and board president with many community developments during his tenure.  Teamster Vice President 1968-1974 Pittsburgh, Pa.     
In 1970, he met the love of his life, Janet Kozlowski. They lived together almost inseparable for over 49 years and together raised 2 boys Nicholas J. Carpellotti and Frank J Carpellotti.
He loved to be with family and was always up for a picnic, reunion or gathering of friends.
He was a strong patriarch of his family, a good friend to all, and a man who would give his shirt for a friend.
Frank was a strong, proud and good man. He is loved and will be missed by many!
He is preceded in death by Mary Carpellotti (Mother), Nick Carpellotti (Father), Louis Carpellotti (Cousin), Genevieve Pearl Baranowski (Kozlowski) (Mother in Law) and Henry Andrew Kozlowski (Father in Law).
Frank Carpellotti is survived by loving wife, Janet Carpellotti ; children, Nicholas J. Carpellotti (Linda) of Greensburg, Pa., Frank J Carpellotti (Sarah) of Peters Township. Brother of Henry Carpellotti(Valerie)of  Stowe Township,and Nick Carpellotti (Linda) of Carnegie, Pa.  Loving grandfather to Lindsay Carpellotti, Summer Carpellotti, Taylor Carpellotti and Miranda Carpellotti who will miss him immensely. Beloved nephew Christopher Carpellotti, and Michael Carpellotti and Niece Gina Carpellotti(John) several nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.    
Frank “I DID IT MY WAY” Carpellotti will be missed by all.    
Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Friday, May 29, 2020 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm at the Anthony M.
