Emil C. Parent, Sr.

Age 92, of McKees Rocks, PA., surrounded by his family, on Monday, October 18, 2021. Preceded in death by his parents Christy and Matilda Parent. Beloved husband of 51 years to the late Lucille (Taranto) Parent. Loving father of Emil (Deborah) Parent, Dean Parent and the late Michele Parent. Cherished Pappy of Nadine (Richie) Helbling and Christopher Parent. Loving Great-grand Pappy of Isabella, Makayla, Ariana and Elijah. Also survived by brother Carmen (Margie) Parent, brother-in-law Anthony (Cathy) Taranto and sister-in-law Marie (the late Larry) Cersosimo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Emil was also preceded in death by sisters Louise Feller and Christine Woznichak. Emil served in the U.S. Army, was a Veteran of the Korean War and a retired Master Carpenter for Allegheny Aviation, where he worked for over 14 years. Emil loved to garden and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Mt. Assisi Assisted Living for their tender and compassionate care.
