EDWIN S. BURKHART

Age 54, Of Freedom, PA, formerly of Sheraden, PA, Langley HS and Point Park University graduate, achieved rate of First Class petty officer during nine-year career in Navy and successful follow-on career as an operational supervisor in the energy industry. Called home by his Lord and Savior on Friday, 8 January 2021, after long and courageous battle with lung disease). Loved in life and survived in death by brother, Joseph; sister, Sandy, shipmates and military comrades, cats Black Bear, Panther and Lenny and numerous longtime friends. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Rochester, PA VFW Post 128 where Ed was an active and beloved member and served as Post Quartermaster. A Spring 2021 memorial service will be planned and invitations will be extended to family and friends. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the ANTHONY M.
