January 17, 1946 – May 1, 2025

Edward J. Pastin Jr., age 79, of McKees Rocks, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025.  Born on January 17, 1946, he was the beloved son of the late Edward J. Pastin, Sr. and Margaret (Vith) Pastin.

Ed dedicated his career to education, serving as a teacher in the Sto-Rox School District where he touched the lives of countless students and colleagues with his patience, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to learning.

He is survived by his brothers Rick Pastin and James Pastin (Maureen), his niece Lindsey Pastin, and his nephew Anthony Pastin (Lauren).  He was a cherished great uncle to Mason, Chloe, Hailey, and Mia.

Ed will be remembered for his quiet strength, deep kindness, and the impact he made both in and out of the classroom.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, Inc., 941 McCoy Rd. Kennedy Township, PA 15136

A service will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Township, PA.
