DONALD NEVIN LEMESH

March 21, 1960 – December 9, 2021

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Donald (Donnie) Lemesh age 61 of Neville Township (formerly of Stowe Township) on Thursday, December 9, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.  

Donnie is preceded in death by his parents, Donald C. & Jean (Shearer) Lemesh.  He is survived by and will be greatly missed by his wife, Joyce; his children Joshua (Lauren) Lemesh, McKenna (Stephen) Koncerak and Brian (Jenny) Krobot who he loved like his own; his brother Darrell and his sister Sharon (Tim Butler) Kaufman as well as his beloved Maxx & Shadow. In addition, Donnie will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, “adopted” children and grandchildren along with his many friends and extended family.

A faithful man, Donnie was a longtime member of the Community Alliance Church but most recently attended Clinton Wesleyan Church.  

Donnie served his country as member of the Air Force Reserve.  He also served his community for many years as a paramedic with Central Ambulance, as a police officer in Kennedy Township and as a firefighter with McKees Rocks, Kennedy Township & Stowe Township Volunteer Fire Departments.

Donnie was often described as “lighting up” any room he entered.  He was a constant prankster and loved to leave people with a laugh and a smile.  On a Sunday you could always find Donnie cheering for his Steelers and he enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Penguins. Recently he began to enjoy cheering for the Pirates after noticing his future wife while attending Faith Night at PNC Park with their church.

A viewing will be held at the Musmanno Funeral Home located at 941 McCoy Road, McKees Rocks, PA 15136 on Saturday, December 18, 2021 beginning at 11:00 AM and continuing until his memorial service officiated by Pastor Ted Chapman at 3:00 PM.
