Diane Margaret (Schulter) Bell

Diane “Gg” Margaret Bell - Faithful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and
friend passed away at the age of 74 on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Diane graduated
from Stowe High School in Mckees Rocks, Pennsylvania. She continued her education
at the University of Pittsburgh in pursuit of an English degree and later went on to earn
a master's degree at Duquesne University. With her passion for serving others, Diane
became a teacher at Sto-Rox School District, where she strived to make a positive
impact on students and their families for 33 years as a reading specialist. Combining
her passion for teaching with her love of sports, Diane also served as a varsity
basketball coach for both Sto-Rox and Keystone Oaks School Districts. Once retired,
Diane continued to live her life to the fullest. She loved traveling, boating at Tygart Lake
in West Virginia, rooting for Pittsburgh sports teams (H2P!), and watching the latest
binge worthy series. Above all else, Gg loved spending time with her family.
Diane was born to Frank and Margaret (Budal) Schulter. She was preceded in death by
her husband of 55 years, William Bell. Her memory lives on through her children David
Bell and Kim (Ray) Zoldos, her sister Audrey (Mark) Studley, her brother Robert (Debra)
Schulter, her seven grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Even though Diane will be
incredibly missed by her family and friends, it brings her family joy to know her and Bill
are together again.
Family and Friends are welcome for visitation on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at the
Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home: 941 McCoy Rd, McKees Rocks, PA 15136 from
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday,
September 5, 2024 at 11:00 am in the Musmanno Chapel. Burial will follow at the
National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 12:30pm.
