Anthony Trapuzzano Obituary

Anthony "Tony" Bruce Trapuzzano, Age 61, passed away peacefully on Thursday,July 16, 2026, surrounded by the unwavering love of his family after an eight year battle with cancer.

Born on May 16, 1965, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Tony was the devoted husband of 35 years to Lynne (née Morton) Trapuzzano. They met at the Neville Island roller skating rink when they were just 14 years old. They grew up together, traveled, rode motorcycles, skied, went to concerts, and built a beautiful life. Through every season, Lynne was the love of his life and his best friend.

Tony was the proud father of Alex (Alison), Tia (Jack), and the late Lauren Trapuzzano, whose memory he held close to his heart every day. He visited her often, planting flowers and honoring her memory in his own quiet ways.

Tony was not someone who talked a lot about love, he showed it by working long hours to provide for his family and doing everything he could to give his children opportunities he did not have growing up. He never stopped believing in their dreams and nothing made him prouder than watching them build lives of their own.

Tony started out working at Trap’s and Webb’s before spending nearly two decades at Toyota of Moon Township, where he was repeatedly recognized as Salesman of the Month and Salesman of the Year. He loved the people as much as the job, earning trust and building friendships with his customers long after they drove off the lot. He lived his life with perseverance, responsibility, and pride in what he had worked for.

If you were lucky enough to have Tony in your corner, you never had to wonder if he would be there, he would. Whether it was family, a friend, or someone who simply needed help, Tony showed up. That was simply who he was.

When he wasn’t working, Tony could be found in his garage working on cars listening to Van Halen. Cars were one of his greatest passions, especially Lincolns and Camaros. He rode his Harley-Davidson whenever he could and loved cheering on the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins, especially when the Penguins brought home the Stanley Cup. Tony was a proud yinzer through and through.

Tony was the beloved son of the late Betty Jane (Michael) McKee and Armond (Debbie) Trapuzzano. He was a cherished brother, a proud uncle to many nieces and nephews, and a loyal friend to countless others.

In addition to his daughter Lauren, Tony was preceded in death by his mother Betty Jane (McKee) Trapuzzano.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lynne; his children, Alex (Alison) and Tia (Jack); his father Armond (Debbie) Trapuzzano; his siblings; many beloved nieces and nephews; extended family; and cherished friends.

Family and friends will be received at the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, Inc. 941 McCoy Road McKees Rocks, PA 15136 on Thursday, July 23, 2026 from 2:00pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the Musmanno Chapel on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 7pm.

His legacy lives on in the countless acts of kindness, generosity, and unwavering love he gave so freely.
