Amelia Rose Pesce
Age 91, of Stowe Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of nearly 68 years to the late Leonard Pesce and a devoted mother to Leonard (Kathleen) and Larry. Amelia was a cherished grandmother to Lauren (Sean) Galletta, Michael, and David (Karina) and an adored great-grandmother to Mason and Lucy Galletta.
She was the loving sister of Anna (William) Tapler and Paul Dellemonache and was preceded in death by her brothers Dominic (Norma) and Lou (Betsy) Dellemonache. Amelia is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Isabelle Dellemonache.
Amelia dedicated her career to serving others, retiring from the Allegheny County Departments of the Family Division. She remained deeply involved in her community throughout her life and was an active member of Mother of Sorrows Church, where she found joy in faith, fellowship, and service. Known for her thoughtfulness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family, Amelia touched the lives of many.
Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Kennedy Township location of the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home at 941 McCoy Rd. McKees Rocks, PA 15136. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Monday, March 3, 2025 in St. Marys Church.
