Age 84, of Beechview and originally of Oakland, on September 24, 2017. Loving mother of Tom (Teri) Palmer, Colleen (late Henry) Pook, Mary Lou (Amir) Eshel and Dan (Judi) Palmer; loving daughter of the late Dick and Cora McCann; loving sister of the late Tom (Ann) McCann, John (Gert) McCann, Rosemary (Pat) Patterson , Rita (Steve) Mance , Larry (Toshi) McCann and Albert McCann.  Missed by ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and loving friends and neighbors at Beechview Manor. Louise will always be remembered for her great sense of humor, and her love of literature, films, music, the Pirates and the Penguins. There will be no visitation. Louise donated her body to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for medical education and research via the Humanity Gifts Registry. The family wishes to thank the staff, doctors and nurses at Mercy Hospital for the loving care of Louise. If desired, the family suggests donations to The Little Sisters of the Poor,  Pittsburgh, a Catholic religious order that offers the neediest elderly a welcoming home.
