Joseph "Eggie" Keay Obituary

Peacefully on January 24, 2019 Son of the late Edward and Nora (Roach) Keay, preceded in death by wife Lillian M (Urban) Keay August 6, 2010. Father of Judy (Raymond) Carrabbia of McKees Rocks and Joseph (Carrie (Keay) of Godfrey, IL. 5 stepsons; Lt Col. Dale (Sharon) Rees of Talcoma, WA., Scott Rees of Scranton, Thomas "Timmy" (Char) Rees of Oakmont, William (Jance) Rees of Mars and Donald (Mary) Kreisberg of Cranberry. Proud Grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Brother of Shirley Ferida of Brentwood, preceded in death by siblings Margaret Smith, Lavern Smith and Kenneth Keay. 

Joseph was employed as a crane operator for US Steel; McKees Rocks, a member of the Paradise Lions Club and a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Joseph provided transportation to the Lancaster County Amish community and was known as "Jitney Joe". He loved to bowl and refinish furniture. Visitation at Anthony M Musmanno Funeral Home Stowe Township location on Saturday from 2 pm to 8pm.

There will be a service on Monday 11 am to 12 noon at St Johns United Methodist Church 3001 Lincoln Highway East Paradise, PA 17562. Burial following at St Johns Cemetery.
