Mrs. Metz, was a terrific teacher, she engaged her students and gained the respect of even the most difficult students. I ran into her a few years ago and we had a very nice discussion. She was still very bright and realized she had recently been given some inaccurate information, remarkable she had such insight at her advanced age! Certainly, one of my favorite teachers, she treated her students with respect and thus gained their respect. May God grant her family the peace they deserve. Heaven has certainly gained an Angel.

I am saddened to hear of Mrs Metz passing. She was my favorite teacher and I was blessed to have her for both 3rd and 4th grade. I recently got to see her at her apartment bldg. wonderful woman who touched my heart for ever.
