Adeline P. (Perschy) LaGuardia

            Age 92, of Hopewell Twp., peacefully passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019.  Beloved wife of 55 years to the late Anthony J. LaGuardia; dear mother of Joyce (Robert) Gratson, Barbara (Dave) LaGuardia-Korb, and James (Cynthia) LaGuardia; grandmother of Amanda (Ryan) Mayton-Snyder, Bethany (David) Gratson-Winans, Matthew (fiancée, Erica Powell) Gratson, Anthony (fiancée, Kaitlynn Hogle), and the late Corey LaGuardia; step-grandmother of David (Kristi) Korb; great-grandmother of Austin, Paxton, Maddox, Helene, and Kristine; sister of John (Violet) Perschy and the late Eleanor (William) Beck.

            Adeline grew up in McKees Rocks and was a long-time member of St. Mary’s Church. After graduating from Secretarial School, Adeline worked for a doctors’ office in Pittsburgh.  She was a devoted wife and proud mother.   She was active in her community as a school volunteer and Girl Scout leader. Adeline moved to Hopewell Twp., where she relished doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church.

            Adeline enjoyed life and was known for her infectious laugh.  She was a generous and charitable person and a die-hard Elvis fan.  Her presence will be missed in the lives of many.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Kennedy Twp.  location of the ANTHONY M. MUSMANNO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 941 McCoy Road, McKees Rocks (Kennedy Twp.) PA 15136.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 9:30 a.m. in St. John of God Parish, the church at St. Mary’s. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
