Passed away on October 21, 2017, surrounded by family and loved ones. Born in Butler, PA in 1930 to Thelma and Roy Rieger, he graduated from Butler High School in 1948 and entered the United States Marine Corps upon graduation. After serving his country for four years, he attended Grove City College and graduated in three years with a degree in business administration, becoming the first in the Rieger family to hold a college degree. He worked for Armco Steel for 34 years, followed by nine years at Citisteel. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; his three children, Lynn Anne Bogel (Rob), Debra Duddy (Thomas) and Mark Rieger (Barbara); his brother, Kenneth Rieger (Diana); six grandchildren, Matthew Bogel, Kelly Bogel Stokes, Connor Duddy, Patrick Duddy, Erin Hobbs, and Wesley Coxwell; five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
