Our family is deeply saddened to inform you that our Father/Grandfather Terry L. Johns Sr. passed away in his sleep on October 29, 2017. As many of you know, he has been suffering from cancer for some time now. We are relieved that his passing was peaceful and painless.
Terry was born in Michigan then moved to Ohio where he spent most of his life.  He retired to Florida and lived there for 10 years, enjoying the weather and playing golf.  Terry moved to Pennsylvania to live with his son Jeff to continue his treatments in Pittsburgh. 
He was preceded in death by both his parents Gladys (Tavernier) and LeRoy Johns.  Terry is survived by his sons Jeffrey L Johns (Linette) of New Kensington, Pa; Terry L. Johns Jr. (Tracy) of McKinney, Tx.; Bret A. Johns (Lee) of Sylvania, OH.  Grandchildren Jeffrey L Johns Jr, Brandon M. Johns, Katherine Johns, Emma Johns, Gavin Johns and Abby Johns.
Per Terry request there will be no viewings and that a private memorial with his immediate family only.  Terry has elected to donate his body to science in hopes to help someone else with their findings.
