Ruth Marie Magee, 90, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Moon Twp., Pennsylvania, March 10, 2017.  She was formerly of Libby, MT and Crestview, FL.  She was born Aug. 21, 1926 in Bassett, NB to Sarah Ethel and Louis Frank Burgett, the 7th of 12 children.  Beloved wife of the late Wendell Magee; mother of Josie Skow (Wayne); grandmother of Joshua (Christi) and Zachary Skow; great-grandmother of Caleb, Hannah and Abigail Skow; sister of Jim Burgett; also survived by many dear nieces, nephews and friends.  Mrs. Magee was a lifelong elementary teacher and taught in South Dakota, Idaho and Montana, before retiring in 1981. She had a BS degree from Western MT. College and a Masters degree from University of MT.  She and her husband started living part of the year in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida in 1989 and she moved to Crestview, FL in 1998. She loved living by her wonderful neighbors, her sister and several nephews and nieces. There will be a memorial service for her July 23, 2017, 10:30 am at The Libby Cemetery, Libby, MT 59923., followed by lunch at the Venture Inn.  Arrangements entrusted to ANTHONY M.
