I am so sorry for your loss. Nothing can prepare you for the loss of someone you love, it is a heart wrenching pain. The Bible provides hope for the future. What hope? "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out...." (John 5:28,29) Those who are sleeping in death will be brought back to life. They will have the prospect of living forever. What will the world be like then? "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:4) No more will people suffer, cry tears of pain, or fall asleep in death. This is not a mere fantasy, but a promise from God who "cannot lie." (Titus 1:2) We can have confidence that this is sure to come true. May this sure hope comfort your grieving hearts.

We are so heart-broken and will be praying for you all. Our youngest son and his girlfriend went to school with Lindsey. They both express she was so sweet and nice to everyone. She truly looks like an angel and anyone can see the sweetness just by looking at her picture. May The Lord comfort you all. With very deep sympathy, The Markel Family

Lindsey was a kind and wonderful person, and it breaks my heart that she was taken so soon. She always lit up class with her lovely personality, and I wish the family my deepest condolences in this heartbreaking time. I'm so sorry that this has happened, and I wish you all the best going forward.

I'd never met Lindsey and I'm sad that a lot of people never will. I do however know Jamie. If this girl was even half as strong, kind and wonderful as the girl I know then this is a devastating loss not only to her family but to the world. All I really want to say is that I pray she is watching down on all of you during this tragic time and know that many of us will be there for you when you need us. If you want to scream, yell, cry or just remember it doesn't matter.
Love.
